Uniqueness of the Drake Institute
For 34 years the Drake Institute has made neurofeedback and biofeedback the centerpiece of its treatment programs. It gives us a method to access brain functioning without any negative side effects and restore normalcy, thereby reducing or eliminating symptoms. It is not an “add-on” to other therapies or medications in the Institute’s treatment programs. It is the central treatment though we may provide adjunctive counseling or treatment of learning disorders secondarily. Because it has been the central treatment for our patients for 34 years, it has enabled the Drake Institute to develop leading edge knowledge and clinical experience in its applications for ADHD.
Employing non-drug medical treatment protocols, our record of clinical successes has far exceeded the performance of the existing therapies. The Drake Institute was founded in 1980 and has helped over 11,000 patients.
